Oyama Forest Products has been located at our present site since 1962. For more than four decades, we have stayed true to our founding principles of quality, honesty, integrity and excellent customer service.

The present day site was part of the original historic Ellison cattle ranch started by Price Ellison in the early 1900s; and in 1930 he passed the property to his son Vern Ellison. Ed Tarasewich, the present owner of OFP, purchased the land and the sawmill from Vern in 1962 and started to turn his passion for the forest and trees into a passion for manufacturing beautiful wood products.
