OFP has developed and constructed a proprietary log notching and drilling machine that produces a unique profile. Our Stop-ProfileŠ profile sets us apart in this industry. During the milling process, the profile stops at the half notch so that no notch appears on the outside perimeter of your log structure, adding to the true log look. Also incorporated is our unique double foam seal system, which produces a virtually air tight shell. As well, our tru-bolt connections eliminate the need for spikes that can hold the logs apart, creating air gaps between log courses that invite air and water migration from the outside. We specifically select and custom process the logs for all of our end products.

This ability to cut the logs into the specific primary product required for our finished products is our largest competitive advantage. By comparison, most other log home builders outsource the raw input material and then try to sort through it for the quality needed in their finished products, a system that can sometimes compromise quality.

Our entire line of log structure kits are pre-drilled for our fastener system as well as electrical chases, pre-notched and ready to assemble including computer generated assembly plans and instructions. Our site crew can erect the home on site for you or your General Contractor. If you prefer to tackle it yourself the assembly instructions are easy to follow with some basic building knowledge.
